Christmas - Panettone Brooch
For years and years now I have had a Christmas tradition of using Choc-Chip Panettone and making Spiced French Toast for breakfast on Christmas Day. To the egg & milk batter I add cinnamon & nutmeg (the spiced bit!) and then once it's cooked we add mixed summer berries, walnuts and maple syrup and it is the BEST breakfast. Of course I feel it necessary to test the recipe multiple times because Christmas Day just ensure I don't make any mistakes on the actual day!
